The  stars are Vikram, Trisha Krishnan and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. The movie will also be dubbed in Telugu. The film’s score and soundtrack will be composed by Harris JayarajVairamuthu. Cinematography for the movie is handled by R.D. Rajasekhar while editing is being handled by A. Sreekar Prasad. The movie has been said to be about life in the underworld. Shooting for the film began on the 24th of April, 2006 at various locations in India. The film was slated for a Pongal/Sankranthi 2007May 11, 2007. Due to the release of Sivaji: The BossMay 17, 2007 the film was postponed to June, 2007 to be released, but it has been postponed yet again due to Sivaji: The Boss.
